Coco's Favorites

The Strip is overrated and inundated with very cookie cutter music, shopping and prices. My advice is only go for the pool parties and if clubs are your thing. Head a bit further north to the "Old Vegas" neighborhood where the likes of Dino, Sinatra, and the Mob started their desert playground.

After some exploration and numerous visits, or romps, my little guide to DTLV is near complete. From a boozy manicures to underground shows, here are a few of MY favorites spots for sips and bites.

Retro Vegas Bridal Spree

"Stick with me baby... "

A few weeks ago, a gal I worked with in Portland for a boudoir shoot came down with her hubby to vacation and shoot in the desert. Kel Ward photographs mainly out of her cute studio in the Hawthorne neighborhood of hip Portland. One morning, I took a little Bolt Bus adventure down to shoot with her for a dark bridal boudoir shoot, which was recently featured on Way Out Wedding!

So, I roped the dashingly handsome Pineapple Stu into shooting with me, albeit it took a few margaritas at Beauty Bar to loosen up... unfortunately some of the photos came out a little blurry, so high res showcasing won't be necessary, but visit our Instagram to see more! Dress is by Kate Miles

This is our usual look of contemplation of our next bar destination.

Road Trip to VEGAS!

Two adventurists head towards the neon desert...

This season has been a vortex of changing winds. After learning metro Seattle rent would boom, we decided to kick our initial "New Year, New Life" move to mid December. We took the punches as they came with weather and had to cut our initial road trip through the Sierra Nevada, Lake Tahoe, Reno and Area 51/Rachel stops to a shorter four day trip.

I feel like we'll never see rain again living out here, so Washington & Oregon decided to pour torrentially throughout the entirety of our drive. Lil Blue's windshield wipers are tired. That's when we decided the 101 would not be the viable option during the rainy season on the coast. Sadly, our only stop was near Cannon Beach, a beautiful coastal outpost, to sleep through the storm.
